The Reality of Singing Education in Pakistan
In Pakistan, there is no shortage of talent but there are very few chances to learn singing in the right way. In big cities like Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad, people may find singing teachers or local institutes but the training is often unstructured, lacks depth or is too expensive. In smaller towns and rural areas, it’s even harder proper vocal education is nearly impossible to access.
A Global Challenge for Aspiring Singers
This challenge exists not just in Pakistan but worldwide. Many students across the globe want to learn singing rooted in Eastern classical music but access to qualified and experienced vocal instructors is limited. Founder’s Mission to Change the System
Faizan Khan — a singer, composer and vocal instructor, established online platform Sa – School of Singing to solve this problem. His goal was to remove the barriers that stop people from learning how to sing and to give everyone the chance to receive high-quality vocal training across the globe.
